A vacation in International Falls is guaranteed to relax, refresh and renew. Visitors will enjoy majestic scenery, wildlife, water recreation sports, snowmobile trails that link all over Minnesota and world-class fishing on Rainy Lake and Rainy River. Whether it's winter or summer, walleyes, northern pike, small mouth bass and crappies are popular catches.

A championship eighteen-hole golf course along the historic Rainy River is top-notch and is being hailed as one of the most scenic golf courses in Minnesota. Make it a “two nation vacation” and play another 36 holes of golf in the sister city, Fort Frances, Ontario.

The Falls serves as gateway to Minnesota’s only national park – Voyageurs National Park. The Park Service offers year-round activities like snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, bird watching, wildlife tours, hiking and biking trails and guided boat tours. Also, take advantage of Ontario Canada's Quetico Provincial Park.

History buffs must take advantage of the Koochiching county Museum located in Smoky Bear Park. “Waters of the Dancing Sky” Scenic Byway stretching along Highway 11 East and West is a great opportunity for sightseeing. Visitors will also enjoy the charming local shops, pubs and restaurants.
